We need your help to make this work. Our mission is to change lives through debate, training a critical mass of eloquent young leaders to help make smart cool for their peers. We cannot do it alone: enabling hundreds more at-risk youth to find paths to success will take a community of support.
We invite you to join this community. The Leadership Circle is a group dedicated to making a difference for youth, and we are growing every day.
Benefits. In appreciation for supporting BAUDL and the young people it serves, Leadership Circle members receive benefits including:
- Tickets to the annual Gala Dinner; recognition in the program and Annual Report
- Invitation to VIP receptions including opportunities to meet our amazing debaters
- Exclusive looks at behind-the-scenes stories, pictures, and video
- Personal thanks from the debaters to you
Levels of support. Join the cause as part of any of five groups:
- Visionary Circle – Gifts of $10,000 and above fund a major wing of programming, single-handedly enabling us to reach dozens more young people.
- Champion Circle – Gifts of $5,000 and above make possible a BAUDL tournament where youth from across the Bay Area test their skills in a competitive community.
- Master Circle – Gifts of $2,500 and above enable a coach to receive the support they need to maximize their impact on the skills and aspirations of their students.
- Advocate Circle – Gifts of $1,000 and above fund a Weekend Workshop where dozens gather to research and discuss the most important issues of the day.
- Speaker Circle – Gifts of $500 and above cover a year’s programming for a single student, enabling them to build strong voices through debate.
