The Bay Area Urban Debate League is proud to announce a new addition to our growing family: the Leading with Debate Fellowship (LDF).
This is a place where young people can build the skills to make change, the skills to become the leaders we need for our communities.
If you ever were frustrated with the way the world works…
If you want to build your power to make change…
If any of these things are true about you, then you should apply for the Leading with Debate Fellowship. The LDF is a way to build your public speaking skills and get recognized for your talent. LDF members will debate about – and make an impact on – the most important issues of our day.

- Train and connect with city council and school board members, lawyers, activists, and other high-powered people
- Learn job readiness skills and leadership skills

How to Apply for the LDF

- give it to the debate coach at your school
- fax it to 510-834-4421
- mail it or drop it off to the BAUDL Office at 285 17th St, Oakland,CA 94612.
