The Bay Area Urban Debate League is holding a week-long summer institute to kick off our second year! This day camp will be the perfect way for ANYONE interested in joining debate or supporting the cause to get early exposure to the debate world before the competition season starts. Amazing debate stars from across the nation will have come together to provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will be educational for anyone- no matter what skill level!

The camp will introduce the debate topic chosen for the 2009-2010 school year, which is about providing more social services for those living in poverty in the United States. It will be held August 10th through August 14th from 9AM-3PM at Dewey Academy in Oakland.
