This Saturday, November 15th, the BAUDL will host its second seasonal tournament, The Fall Classic, on the McClymonds campus in West Oakland.  Students from a dozen high schools will meet for intense competition, an opportunity to speak their minds, and a chance to create lasting relationships with the brightest of their peers from all over Oakland.  We look forward to seeing any of you who can make it out to see the amazing talent of Oakland’s young people and to learn more about the Bay Area Urban Debate League’s efforts to expand competitive debate opportunities to high schools that need them most.

Debates begin at 10am, 12:30pm, and 2:30pm.  Our awards assembly – a great time to see the collective excitement of the league and the pride our students take in their hard work and  success – begins at 4:30pm.
